As we are coming to the end of September, it seems only right to do a blog post on some of my favorite looks I’ve been wearing recently suitable for college. As we are still experiencing this bipolar weather right now I have included 2 looks that include a skirt but can be worn with tights or leggings and my go-to Adidas track pants. Every clothing item apart from the Adidas track pants are from one of my favorite high street, online brands, Pretty Little Thing. All 3 of the styles below have a very similar edge to them creating a retro vibe. In this post I am going to be giving you a glance of my top 3 favorite back to college/school outfits of this season.

For starters, The look below is a classy look for college but also suitable. The skirt is a nice length and also has a nice style to it. I love the drape on the left side and the way one side is very slightly longer than the other. The patterned design is very similar to Burberry but the price is probably around 10 x cheaper. It is also suitable whatever the weather as it can be worn with black tights underneath.

I chose gold statement earrings to pair with this outfit as the color almost was matching with the skirt. I feel as though these big, bulky earrings spice the look up a bit and add something more exciting to it. The skirt doesn’t feel tight and doesn’t rise annoyingly every time you sit down. The high neck, long sleeved black top went perfectly with this skirt as it made the look appear sophisticated and not too patterned. Overall i would defiantly recommend this skirt as the quality is totally worth the price.

Next, we have this retro Tupac over sized T-shirt and black Adidas track pants. (on the left) and cropped, zip, blue sweatshirt with plain black leggings (on the right). Firstly, I am obsessed with printed, over sized T-shirts so I absolutely love this Tupac one. These black Adidas track pants are the comfiest. As the shirt is black and white and the track pants are also black with white stripes, they contrasted well together and looked cute.

Moving onto the next outfit, The blue, zipped, cropped sweatshirt has appeared in my MISSGUIDED SALES post and has made an appearance on my Instagram @tjblogs. I personally love this sweatshirt as it is fitted around the waist and doesn’t blow up in the wind. I would totally suggest checking out both of these outfits as they look great and are affordable for us students. We paired both of the outfits with trainers and felt as though they would be the most suitable option thinking of college, and all the walking around from building to building.

Last but not least, we have this casual, black, distressed denim skirt and band T-shirt.  Plain denim skirts are pretty popular right now, so I thought that a distressed one would jazz it up a little. I put my hair up in a high ponytail and curled it with chopstick curlers to let the band Tee be visible.

The tee was pretty over sized so I tucked it into my denim skirt, creating a more fitted look. The skirt’s quality was very secure and strong, it was also a perfect fit. Again, this whole outfit was defiantly worth the price, and again affordable for us students. The distressed skirt creates a Rock ‘N’ Roll vibe making the chosen T shirt the perfect option to pair together.
